MY MUM

My Mum is someone special because she does unique things. Last weekend she was very kind and let me come to the Haumoana market to sell some of her creations. I think her designs and creations are pretty cool!   She had made tutus (LOTS OF TUTUS). She is very creative, and as she says “take your time and you will get it right”. I feel sort of bad for her because she has to put all her money and effort into buying all the tulle to make her one of a kind, custom, Beautiful tutus. Her logo is the picture up top, for her community:   

She gets me, my sisters and brother treats when we have been good and been behaving. Because normally we misbehave at home. Me and my brother have a money competition, if we are good then we get 20c and then we save up for something.

If we're naughty, then we have money taken of us so really it an opportunity to be nice and earn it. My Mum was born on the 22nd of July and has lots of brothers and sisters too. My Mum has blonde hair with light brown streaks (she has dyed her hair lots of times). Also she has Blue eyes as Blue as the ocean with twinkling sparks in them after she blinks. The most thing I like about my Mum is that she loves ME!!

measurement & geometry

Since the start of term 2 my class has been working on Measurement & Geometry:P

Spider Attack

There i was looking very confused but also scared. Shaking, Shivering and  biting my mouth. Then out of nowhere came a HUGE nasty, ugly looking spider. I was shocked how it had long stretchy legs. Scared to death I tried to bite and kick him but he was too powerful. For an Ant to defeat a spider “pft” like that would happen ( if I see an Ant defeat a spider then everyone will call Ants CRA CRA!!!! )

Terrifyingly i tried to escape from him but….. he started to spin a silky white web around my brown midget legs, I was so frightened of that cruel spider. After a while he paused, then he bit me on the head, and I tell you it was PAINFUL allright. I was guessing that he did that to weaken me so it would be easier to wrap me up. It was like i was spinning on a merry-go-round.

After a while he bit me again and kept doing it until i became weaker and weaker still, trying to escape i was pulling my legs but i was still brick solid stuck in the web. But all of a sudden “OM OM OM” a way bigger hairy spider came along and ate the small spider. “Phew that was a close one” i said to myself.

my maths

A few weeks ago, my class did a maths task. Our focus was  shapes 3D & 2D. I learnt Lots:
did u know that rectangles are squares but squares ain't rectangles? I also learnt that there are 2 kinds of pyramids: a 

a square based & a tetrahedron. Every shape has a base & a face (even a sphere has a base.) And if you don't know then did you know that the outside of a shape is called a net. Thats all i have today to tell and don't forget to make a cylinder TRY IT!!!!!!!!

Mum you are a Awesome superhero to me because: You saved my Incredible t-ball team twice from losing our games (by umpiring my team).

Bringing my colourful mufti clothes when I leave them at home.

You always help me with my imposible homework when I need extra help.

When it comes to netball season you become the best best BEST coach ever. I don't care if I get pulled of the court, netball is all about having a lot of fun.

Me and my buddy claire did some superhero maths, this is what we did: An array that had to show a equation to equal 48. Another thing we had to do was rite down all of the family of facts for the equations.

Me and my buddy ( Claire ) had finished gluing on the 48 superhero symbols on,  ( because we had to have 48 symbols on the black sheet ) “what times table did you use”? so we said: “we figured out 2 times tables that we could use” they were: 2x24= 48, 1x48 =48 & 4x12=48. It took round about 2 days to glue the symbols on to the black cartridge paper. It also took a few minutes to cut-out our superhero symbols.

My superhero: Dark Claw

Dark Claw

Dark Claw has black stripes and she is orange along with she companion: Growls (a tiger). Shes got blue eyes as blue as the starry sky (but when its dark). In the dark her eyes GLOW like lights and has amazing eyesight. Her hair blows in the breeze every time it picks up.

She wears a light blue t-shirt with a lion that represents her cat family. She also a light blue skirt with a grey belt. At the top of her t-shirt is a little red bow. Her shoes are light blue high heel boots with folds at the top.

Her house was full of pictures of different types of cats. Since she has claws she uses them and… 2 big big BIG blades (to fight with of course). A quick tip: she always defeats her enemies.   

my mermaid

On Saturday  21st of February I made a mermaid made out of play- dough. I used light pink, dark pink and white. Sorry about the toys in the background I played with them in the morning I did this pic.  Anyways, the bikini ( boys don't laugh at it) is white, the first layer of the tale is light pink, the second layer is dark pink and the bottom of the tale is white as well. in her hair ( you may not see ) is a pink hair-tie with a bow attached on it. I'm really proud of myself and what I did.    

Nui Swimming Day

On Friday 14th of feb the nui had a swimming sports day. Lots of people competed in a few relays and i was shivering at the end.

Hi my name is Makayla and this is my blog. On my blog i will be adding AWESOME story's, a bit about myself and much much more!

Crunchie

First I will tell  u about myself: OK so first I have blonde short hair, my eyes are light blue,my skin colour is a light kind of white / cream and I have a BIG family. I have 2 cats called  Crunchie & Toffee.Toffee is a little ginger cat like the pic at the top. Crunchie  is not a kitten he's a... BIG FAT ginger cat!!!!!!! Like the pic above this writing. I also had a black & white cat called pandi, and the cutest thing about him is...   that he had a crooked tail.Sadly he ran away very far from home, ( which is my house ).           

I have a big family some live in Australia, England and New Zealand everywhere!!!! My mum Julia, my dad  Gavin, my brother  Brody, and my sisters Jade & Ruby.
